Remember Me

I don't know what it is but I have sure got out of the habit of daily posting. I want to. I tell myself when the day begins that I will post. I will have thoughts to write on that come to me through the day and in my times with God. I will have every intention and want to and then at the end of the day I will have not taken the time to do it. I get to busy. Other things take priority. Another day goes by with no post.

This teaches me that good intention and desire are not enough.

Do you think we do with following God.

We desire to follow him with our lives and we want to, but at the end of the day we let other things take priority. We intend to serve him and give him control of our lives, but at the end of the day we didn't take the time to give it to him. We want to worship him and fellowship with other followers but we let other things take priority over church.

I am gonna work on staying focused on posting because it helps me stay focused on my relationship with God. It helps me keep my priorities straight. Act on your intentions and desires today before it is too late.

Love today.

In Christ's love and mine,
Doug

P.S. Please excuse any mistakes I did this from my phone because I wanted to make sure I took the time.

I discovered a way, with a busy schedule, to continue a daily posting - during a time of inspiration do several at once, scheduling them for posting one at a time each day. This enables freedom to capture inspiration when it happens and insulates from gaps when it doesn't; I can skip a day or two without blog consequence

Works for me (so far [grin]).

Cheers!
