World Changers
A group of young people from all around the country have come to Trenton, MO this week with a mission organization called "World Changers". There are around 100 youth with World Changers plus adult leaders. They are working on homes in the area as well as praying for the neighborhoods and looking for ways to make God's love visable and real.
Dockery is providing meals each day for one of the work crews. The group we are working with has people from Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Clinton, MO. It has been great getting to know this group off young people and the leaders as we shared in worship yesterday and our meals.
Meeting this group of people has got me thinking about changing our world. The idea that we might be able to change the world around us by making God's love visable and real to people. By doing random acts of kindness. By praying for our neighborhoods and looking for ways to share God's love with the people we encounter each day.
I think God is calling me and you to be world changers. To offer hope to the world and to make God's love real.
