Thank God it's Friday!

God loves you and there is nothing you can do about it. From time to time, I will have us say this to each other at church. It is a truth that we/I need to be reminded of on a regular bases. For multiple reasons, (maybe it is not what other tell us, or the world send a different message, or we don't fell loved, or the church told us different or acted different... the list could go on and on) we forget this truth.

But here is the truth, and it is worth our thanks,-- GOD LOVES YOU! NO MATTER WHAT! GOD LOVES YOU AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. YOU CAN'T GET GOD TO STOP LOVING YOU. GOD LOVES YOU!

That thing you did. The stuff you got into. What you are about to do. None of that. Nothing you will do will make God stop loving you. No matter what people tell you. No matter what your feelings tell you. You are loved.

Give God thanks today. Tell God that you love him too!

Love today.

There is a lot that can be said about that passage. I think it should be a big caution for anyone who says they are a follower of Jesus. I we are talking about this passage in terms of God's love and what that says about God loving us. I think the that God never stops loving us even when we don't love him in return. He has to say away with us not because he don't love us but because we never loved him.

What do you think is going on in this passage?

I agree a lot could be said about this passage. I do think God loves us no matter what and I agree with the last sentence of your comment also, and that believer's genuine faith produces fruit by their works, not just works without faith which is unbelief.
